This rooftop, split-level, third-floor, apartment is located in the heart of the village of Dinard/Saint Enogat and has sea views across the bay.

Saint Enogat beach is only a short walk from the apartment (400 metres approximately). It is ideal for young children and has supervised crèche facilities and a mini-golf course. The beach is also suitable for older children too, with boats for hire and rocky coves for climbing.

Overlooking one end of the bay is the Novotel Hotel and the Centre of Thalassotherapy, where one can experience a wide range of hydro-therapy courses.

The apartment is fully equipped and recently refurbished. All the furniture is new.

• Living Room - the living room is bright and roomy with a large 3-seater sofa and marble dining table, which seats 4 people. A double patio door leads to:
• The Terrace - the large garden table seats 6 people and the 2 sun-beds provide a perfect sun-trap for sun worshippers.
• Kitchen - recently modernised, fully fitted, with oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dish washer and drop-leaf table to seat 3 people.
• Utility room (via the terrace) - extra storage area and washing machine.
• Modern bathroom - recently refurbished, with corner shower unit, wash-basin and toilet
• Master bedroom - double bed, built-in wardrobes connected to:
• Ensuite bathroom - shower unit, wash basin and toilet.

A hall passageway connects to the 2 split-level back bedrooms:

• Bedroom 2 - twin beds and wardrobe.
• Bedroom 3 - double sofa-bed and wardrobe.
• Pillows and duvets are provided but visitors need to supply their own linen and towels.

About the location

Dinard, known as 'the pearl of the Emerald Coast', is a small seaside town steeped in history and character. Situated by the estuary of the Rance, and just 5 miles from the ferry port of St. Malo, Dinard has always been a fashionable tourist resort.

Dinard, like nearby Jersey, benefits from the balmy waters of the Gulf Stream that pass close by, providing the region with a Mediterranean atmosphere. There are four beaches to choose from; Ecluse, Prieure, Saint Enogat and Port Blanc, each providing a variety of water sports and bathing facilities. The beaches are each linked by scenic footpaths that meander around the rocky coastline.

Dinard is only a short distance from many other historic Breton towns and villages. There's the beautiful and well preserved medieval town of Dinan, only 20 kilometres by car; the 'pirates' city of St. Malo, with its cobbled streets, ancient ramparts and numerous restaurants is just across the bay; the picturesque fishing village of Cancale, famed for its oyster beds, is also well worth a visit. Also, Mont. St. Michel, the 8th century, hilltop town and Abbey is only 40 kilometres away on the Normandy border.

How to get here

As well as ferry services cheap flights are available from Stanstead to Dinard on Ryanair. All rentals are per week - heating and electricity are included in the rental (excluding November to March) when a nominal £20 a week extra shall be charged.
