Villa la mer is situated in one of the most famous and precious regions of the French Riviera: between Cannes and Nice. The town is called Golfe Juan, a quiet living region in the hills on the Mediterranean coast. The ocean is just down the hills (10 minutes walking distance/5-minutes drive), where you will find beautiful sandy beaches and a yacht harbour (other beaches can be found at Juan les Pins and Antibes, some offering deck chair rental in a private beach area). Various restaurants on the quays offer delicious fish and other specialties, the quays invite you to take a relaxing walk along the water. From the hills of Golfe Juan you can overlook the bay of Cannes, the isles Lerins and the Esterel-mountains.

The property is situated in a huge garden with old orange/lemon/banana trees and you have a wonderful 180 degree view of the bay of Antibes and Cannes. Directly next to the house is a garage and there is space to park other cars.

The property is completely private and very tranquil. All the rooms are equipped with luxurious furniture and air conditioning, including in 4 of the bedrooms, making life very comfortable. A sauna is also available for your relaxation.

The Villa was recently built in the year 2000. The style is neo-provencalian unifying mediterranean-comfortable and luxurious-modern elements. It has approximately 330 square metres of living space on two levels.

• 5 bedrooms (4 on the upper level with direct access to the upper terrace and one on the ground level with direct access to the lower terrace and the garden). The bedrooms are equipped with oaken parquet. The remaining area has been tiled in terracotta tiles being decorated with blue patterns and granite
• Living Room - with a huge high ceiling and a big dining table. This room can be transformed into a big hall by opening the side doors making it a perfect venue for ceremonious receptions. Two rooms are equipped with stereo TV by satellite, Hi-Fi, CD and tape player
• A library with an open fireplace chimney
• 3 bathrooms (one with a whirlpool). The bathrooms are flagged with granite and Villeroy and Boch tiles. The sanitary ware is by Hans Grohe (a famous German brandmark)

• 3 kitchens with top of the range equipment by Hans Grohe and perfectly equiped for cooking events
• Two terraces are covered with arcades - one of the terraces is equipped with a fixed barbecue and a spectacular Pool-bar (beer on draft). All benefit from a wonderful ocean view

• Heating by electricity to ground floor, bathrooms/showers, kitchens

About the location

Golfe Juan is a suburb of Vallauris, a typical French little town, famous for artistic pottery (Picasso spent the major part of his life there, his atelier and a Picasso museum can still be visited today) with Mediteranean atmosphere and little shops with a long tradition in art and handicraft. In the village you will also find lots of shops for everyday needs and at the week-ends there is usually a market with fresh fruit and vegetables of the region from the local farms.

In the surrounding areas there are many French towns to visit, both small and large but all very famous: Juan les Pins (3 km), Antibes (6 km), Monaco (30 km) or Saint Tropez (80km) for example.
