About the location

Situated 13 km from L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, 15 km from Gordes, and 25 km from St Rémy de Provence. Within easy reach of Cavaillon just a few km away, the village of Les Taillades is located at the foot of the Luberon and is well worth a visit. It is a small village full of charm with the recent part hosting the shops and residential areas and the old medieval village which has kept many of its original features (classified site).
Environment : Country setting, between Cavaillon and Les Taillades, without being isolated, with a view of the « Luberon ». 2 km from the village of Les Taillades.

PLACES TO VISIT:
L?Isle sur la Sorgue. 13 km. Attractive market town with picturesque waterways and renowned for its antique markets. Not to be missed!
Ménerbes. 15 km. Superb little village with well preserved heritage, built on a hill, and surrounded by magnificent countryside.
Gordes. 15 km. Beautiful hilltop village with fabulous abbey surrounded by lavender fields. Home to many artists and movie stars and lovingly depicted by Peter Mayle.
St Rémy de Provence. 25 km. As picturesque and Provencal as can be, with narrow winding streets, shady squares, fantastically old fountains, elegant shops, art galleries and plenty of bars and restaurants. The village and surrounding countryside has inspired many artists including Van Gogh who produced more than 150 paintings of the area. Also birthplace of Nostradamus.

FURTHER AFIELD:
Carpentras. 30 km. A real treat to all lovers of history and architecture thanks to its wealth of history and also famous for its Friday morning colourful market which attracts people from all over the region.
Avignon. 30 km . City of history and city of theatre, the fortified city of Avignon marked by papal history will charm you with its ancient streets, spectacular monuments and museums and impressive number of cafes and restaurants. Its famous bridge still stands over the Rhone river.
Les Baux de Provence. 35 km. Most beautiful Provencal hill top and fortified village, in the heart of the Alpilles with brilliant view of Arles, the Camargue and the Alpilles. Officially classified and labelled as "one of the most beautiful villages in France", it is one of the ?must sees? in Provence.
Chateauneuf du Pape. 45 km. Medieval village built on the side of a hill, overlooked by the ruins of its ancient chateau and surrounded by its world famous vineyards.
