About Locquirec in Côtes-d'Armor, Brittany

Situated in northern Brittany, between the superb Pink Granit coast and the Côte Sauvage (wild coast), Locquirec is a pretty little fishing harbour with sandy beaches on both sides, across the bay from Lannion.
Locquirec offers breathtaking views across the bay. At low tide, the sea gives way to a vast expanse of sand that fishermen on foot do not hesitate to visit and scratch to extract various shells. Cafes, restaurants, creperies create a particularly friendly atmosphere on the waterfront and in the streets.
23 km from Morlaix and 20 km from Lannion.

Lannion. 20 km. Historic city with a delightful medieval quarter and numerous cafés, bars and elegant shops.
Morlaix. 23 km. One of the great old Breton ports built on the slopes of a steep valley, with charming medieval centre with cobbled streets and half-timbered houses as well as a grand and unmissable 19th century viaduct built in the local pink granite.
Pink Granite Coast. 30 km. Stretching from Perros Guirec to the isle of Batz, the Pink Granite coast magnificently lives up to its name. With a pinkish colour, this coast is really very beautiful and boasts fine, sandy beaches, breathtaking coastal walks and a natural reserve with an incredible biodiversity.
Perros Guirec. 30 km. Chic and sought after seaside resort on the picturesque Pink Granite Coast with a large choice of attractive beaches. Boat trips to the Seven islands archipelago and its well-known sea bird sanctuary. Also a casino and good choice of restaurants.

Golf de St-Samson, Pleumeur Bodou. 30 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 71 - 5800m. Delightful golf course extending over 57 hectares of moors and pine forests. Facing the sea, near Perros Guirec, it overlooks the outstanding Pink Granite coast and the golf ball silhouette of Pleumeur Bodou Telecommunications Radome (Radar dome). For golfers of all abilities.
Vivons perchés, Pleumeur Bodou. 30 km. Tree top adventure park. In 3 hectares of forest, Excitement and fun guaranteed for the whole family in a secure environment! Over 100 challenges spread across 8 trails, from 1 to 15m in height. For both adults and children with a head for heights!
Planétarium de Bretagne, Pleumeur Bodou. 30 km. Fantastic display of stars and planets in one of the largest and best planetariums in Europe. The new 3D "total covering" display (360°) will get you to touch the stars. An exceptional and magical experience.
Armoripark, Bégard. 35 km. Waterpark. 6 hectares dedicated to leisure, relaxation and fun. A host of outdoor activities: trampoline, pedal karts, mini-golf, bowling, pedaloes, bobsleigh ride etc.; but also an aquatic centre: indoor and outdoor leisure pool, slides, jacuzzi etc; without forgetting the farm animals! So much fun!!!

FURTHER AFIELD:
Roscoff. 50 km. Attractive port with 16th-century granite houses clustered around a small bay. It benefits from a lovely atmosphere and boasts many welcoming restaurants.
Paimpol. 55 km. Attractive coastal town full of character, with cobbled alleyways and half-timbered buildings, plenty of restaurants with seafood being the obvious choice on the menu.
Ile de Bréhat. 65 km. In reality, 2 traffic-free islands linked by a tiny bridge, just a few kilometres off Paimpol. One of the most beautiful sites in Brittany and renowned as a sanctuary for rare species of wild flowers as well as for birds of all kinds. To be discovered on foot or by bike (available for hire on arrival).
St Quay Portrieux. 80 km. Popular seaside resort with busy marina and bustling fishing port.
