Tourmalet La Mongie is the largest winter ski resort in the Pyrenees region.
With over 100km, there are 69 pistes and 43 lifts including poma tows and several four and six-man chair-lifts. In addition to downhill skiing; snowboarding, a snowpark, cross-country skiing, snowmobiles and hiking in snowshoes are also on offer.
Beginners will be up to speed in no time thanks to the resort's dedicated Ski School. If it's your first time skiing then no need to worry as expert tuition is on hand, including private one-on-one classes.
