Montbéliard is a prosperous town and has been home to Peugeout since 1810. The town is the former home of Dukes of Wurttemberg and sits in the shadow of the castle.

Things To Do

Près la Rose Park is located between the Allan river and the Rhine-Rhône Canal in the center of town. This recreational park covers a 25 acres penninsula and features include a climbing wall, plant maze and skate board tracks. The park is dedicated to science and technology and it has several large structures to reflect this. There is a small harbour in the prolongation of the park, where 30 boats anchor. These boats can be rented with no license required.
