Arfeuilles is a small quiet village in the Bourbonnaise Mountains on the banks of the River Barbenan in the Allier department of the Avergne region of France.

With flowery riverside seating area and its four floral bridges this is the last village in France to have the traditional medieaval Cou de L'Oie festival each August. 

If you like horses, spectacular riding and events that truly represent France, this is for you.  Thousands of people line the streets to enjoy this unique occasion on August 15 each year to watch the expertise of horsemen galloping up through the square.

Each Wednesday morning there is a market selling fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, cheese and meat in the village.
