Abeilhan (Hérault)

The village is situated on a small hill with commanding views to the East of the mountains of Cevennes in the Parc National and to the West the mountains of the Parc naturel regional du Haut-Languedoc. Abeilhan is a very friendly village with French main language but you will also hear Catalan and Spanish spoken. In the summer months the village has two fetes, 11 July & 22 - 24 July the bull fighting Fete not to be missed. There are several ocal wine producers Domaine Filles de Septembre, Lotantique and Georges D'Orby. Every four years the Tour de France goes right through the village. There is a paint ball center.
