Le Grand Pressigny is a small village but has a good range of attractions, shops and facilities.

There is a market every Thusday from 0800 hrs to 1300 hrs in Place Savoire Villars selling local produce including poultry, eggs, goats cheese and fruit.

Château de Grand Pressigny

Overlooking the town, this chateau was an attractive residency for Honore III de Savoie in the early 16th C. It has since been bought by the Department and commune with a prehistoric museum in its Renaissance gallery and architectural grotto of considerable interest. The museum highlights some of the important flint/stone artefacts and fossils found in the region.

The château is open to visitors and has some impressive gardens.
