Mougins is picturesque and charming and and is one of the best medieval villages on the Côte d'Azur. It is set inside the remains of 15th century ramparts and a fortified Saracen gate. It has many links with art having 20 art galleries, and Picasso spent the last 15 years of his life here. Many other celebrities including Winston Churchill and Christian Dior have also spent time here.
