Saint-Jeannet is a Perched mediaeval Village near Nice. The Baou de Saint-Jeannet, a limestone mass which dominates the lively village set 804 metres above sea level is a paradise for hikers and climbers.

From the top climbers are rewarded by a wonderful panorama of the sea, Esterel Massif, Italy and the Alps. On a clear day Corsica and Sardinia are visible. The 17th century Medieval village of Saint Jeannet has changed little since then and has much to offer by way of its atmosphere and its castle.
