Auray (Morbihan)

Auray is a picturesque and historic town with a strong artistic flavour and definitely a place to visit. There are many gift shops scattered around the town, along with bars and restaurants but the main attraction in Auray is the ancient Port of St Goustan. With its seventeenth-century stone bridge still spanning the river to the ancient harbour, the winding cobbled streets, 15th/16th century houses plus waterfront bars and restaurants, St Goustan provides a lively but lovely typical French atmosphere and makes this port an ideal location for evening dining.
