Located between Geneva and Mont Blanc, in the heart of the Vallée de l’Arve, Bonneville is an Alpine town close to Switzerland and Italy in the department of Haute-Savoie.

Bonneville lies at the foot of the Alps and is situated in an area which has access to some very good winter skiing. In the summer hiking, canyoning and many other mountain sports are available. There are also beautiful clean fresh water lakes in which you can go fishing, sailing or swimming during the summer.

There are plenty of opportunities for some culture too with museums, art exhibitions and galleries open all year round.

Bonneville is situated on the River Arve and the town centre with the river flowing through it is very attractive. There are numerous shops, cafés, bars and restaurants together with lovely open squares where you can spend a pleasant hour or two over a coffee, a glass or two of wine or enjoying some delicious Savoyard cuisine.
