As the Rhone gently snakes its way through ‘Le Genevois’, which is famous for its lush green countryside, you come upon the town of Saint-Julien-en-Genevois which is completely surrounded by the Salève, Vuache and Jura mountains, thus forming a natural vantage point overlooking Geneva the lake.

It is a frontier town with the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland and therefor enjoys a privileged position with regards to inter-frontier exchanges. This geographical location has been the key element in turning the area into a constantly growing city.
