Parisot has a restaurant, 2 bakers, a pharmacy and general store. Just outside the village there is a large boating and swimming lake where pedalos and canoes can be hired, it also has a cafe. The village church dates back to the 12th century. During August the village holds a festival by the side of the lake called Festilac with the traditional repas of paella cooked over wood fires and served with aligot, there is dancing, live music and entertainment for all tastes and ages. The evening ends with an enormous firework display set over the lake. It is well known in the area and is attended by thousands of locals and visitors.
