The vineyard is small (54 acres) but the wine it is renowned for its taste and its originality. Based on the foothills of the Vendeen's bocage with its ground consisting mainly of a clay and flint soil which faces south, the Pissotte vineyards benefit from having an exceptional amount of sunshine (1600 hours per year).
