The village of Tuchan is the home to Mont Tauch, a leading wine producer with a world famous reputation for producing high quality Fitou and Corbieres wines.
Their modern Visitor Centre welcomes visitors and you can indulge in wine tastings under the expert guidance of their friendly staff.
At the time of our visit, the wine tasting experience was simplified by having Mark, the English Manager, talk us through some of his selections. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the wines produced added to our experience. Apart from the staff who are happy to help you, there is a video corner where you can watch a short film featuring local villagers who are very involved with the wine production. Touch screens also open up the world of Fitou, Carignan, Grenache and Syrah so you can learn as you taste.
