French Snowboarding Holiday Resorts
With so many snowboarding resorts in France to choose from, you may need some help. Here’s the French Connections guide to some of the most popular French snowboard resorts right now:
Snowboarding Holidays in Tignes, Val D’Isere
Tignes in the Val d’Isere area of the French Alps is said by many to be one of the premier snowboard resorts in France, and last year was even named as the Observer magazine’s top snowboard resort in the world. With 300km of piste, half-pipes, terrain parks and great off-piste boarding, you can see why. Because Tignes is part of the massive L’Espace Killy you’re guaranteed never to run out of terrain, which makes it a popular return destination for many snowboarders. The resort itself is classic Alpine French, with a good dose of cool.
