First held in 1996, the annual Marseille Festival takes place over four hot weeks throughout the bustling port.  With performances ranging from contemporary dance, theatre and music to classic film, it is a culture vulture's paradise.

The aim of the festival is to bring performance to as wide an audience as possible.
