Provençal Festival - Avignon

Event takes place: 01 July 2012 - 31 July 2012

Three weeks of festival to celebrate Avignon's Provençal heritage. The local culture is still strong in this part of the country, with many people still using traditional Provençal patois. The festival is held in various venues around town as well as on the sunny streets, so there's plenty to enjoy - from songs, theatre and storytelling to music and traditional dancing.
