Chateau offering French Gourmet Cuisine in Montreuil-sur-Mer
A romantic ambience is created in this private country retreat. In addition to being a hotel, the establishment also boasts a 4 * cuisine restaurant. The building is surrounded by a beautiful fragrant garden and the interior is cosy and stylish with an open fire and comfy sofas. Ideally situated just fifteen minutes from the motorway to Calais so very convenient.

Les Djuke's is a popular brasserie-style restaurant, quite trendy, serving modern French cuisine. The restaurant caters well for business lunches, intimate meals and functions. The interior is fashionably decorated with chocolate brown walls and flowers. A innovative menu offers delicious meals such as pan-fried duck liver served with apples, honey and calvados sauce or the roasted cod with paella rice and red pepper.

Delightful Restaurant in Paris-by-the-Sea (Le Touquet)

The Dune aux Loups auberge is located in the resort town of Le Touquet Paris-Plage and specialises in wood-grilled fish and meat. The restaurant itself is set in a villa surrounded by pretty woodland. Great ambience with excellent gardens for dining alfresco in the summer and cosy log fire for romantic meals in winter. This is a popular restaurant with locals and regional dishes will cost between £35 and £40.

Lille's Little Gastronomic Star

Le Lion Bossu restaurant is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the train station in Vieux Lille near the Place du Lion d’Or. The lush dining rooms date back to the late 1600’s and the interior is a combination of sumptious red velvet banquettes and antique copper pots. Exposed antique brick walls and wooden beams add to its rustic charm. The modern art, which decorates the walls, works well. The service was fantastic and the average price of a meal is around £25-£34 / €35-€49. A great little venue for a low key, informal meal.

Getting to Nord Pas de Calais
By Car
Catch one of the ferries or Eurotunnel to Calais and you are there. This is one of the smallest regions of France so you are not more than two hours away form anywhere in the region by car.
If you plan to travel on later the area has excellent road connections with Paris and the rest of France via the A26 and A25 motorways.
