Château d'Annecy
The Château d'Annecy is a castle dominating the old French town of Annecy. It was bought by the town, restored and transformed into a museum, Musée Château d''Annecy, a fine museum that explores traditional Savoyard art and crafts and has a display on Alpine-related furnishings and fine artwork.
A 12th-century tower offers spectacular views of the Alps. The castle is listed as a historical monument by the French Ministry of Culture
