St-Etienne Cathedral, Bourges

St-Etienne Cathedral is a gothic masterpiece begun by Henri de Sully in 1195, has impressive medieval stained-glassed windows and an incredible astronomical clock, designed in 1424 as a wedding present to Charles VII and Marie d''Anjou. The cathedral was added to the list of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1992.
