Bourganeuf Museum of Electricity (Bourganeuf la Musée l’électrification)
Bourganeuf was the third town in France to offer light in public places and households. In May 1886, 60 lightbulbs were alluminated in Bourganeuf. Today at Bourganeuf la Musée l’électrification celebrates and displays a social and economic insight into the history of producing electricity. It also explains why Bourganeuf became the third town in France selected to have electricity.
