Buzet is nice little town on the banks of the River Baiise. It is notable for its wine (it boasts the largest wine co-operative in France), its chateau (perched high on a hill overlooking the town and its vineyards) and for the Vigneron restaurant which offers excellent food at extremely reasonable prices. French people travel from miles around to eat at 'Le Vigneron'

There is a large boatyard where boats can be hired, by the half-day, day or week to travel the River Baiise or le Canale latéral a la Garonne. A trip along the Baiise to the beautiful old bastide village of Vianne is highly recommended!
