Monet's former home and garden have been restored and are open to the public. One can wander through Monet’s happy spacious house and the wonderful garden, which was the inspiration for his famous water-lily series of paintings.

The flowers in the splendid garden, mark the passing of time and the changing of light. The house has been restored, and now boasts its original colours, furniture, Japanese prints and pieces of China.
