Parc André-Citroën Paris

This extraordinary parc has been developed on the site previously occupied by the Citroën factory, hence its name. Located close to the banks of the Javal and occupying around 14 hectares, the parcs Mediterranean style gardens include two immense glasshouses and beautiful water features.

When the factory was closed in 1970, the site's 23 hectares were included in the capital's urbanisation policy.

Today, the parc successfully marries urban with rural, in what is truly a delight to walk around.

The two impressive glasshouses, which contain the orangery, are surrounded by the exquisite gardens and breath-taking fountains. The style of the parc exudes a modernist theme and is broken down into 4 areas: artifice, architecture, movement and nature.

The River Seine flows at the far end of the parc. One side of the lawn is fringed by a monumental canal and the other by two sets of small gardens: the six Serial Gardens and a wild Garden in Movement.

The garden is open to the public free of charge, 24 hours a day, throughout the year.
