Weymouth is on the south coast of the UK and has a small but busy harbour, with plenty of traffic bound for the Channel Islands as well as for the French mainland, where the main ferry route is Weymouth to St Malo in Brittany.

The port offers a range of facilities such as showers and toilets and wireless broadband. The nearby marina is a bustling area with heritage and historic buildings along with an award-winning beach.

In the local area there are many things to do, much of them based in the Lodmoor Country Park such as the Sea-Life Park and Marine Sanctuary. Weymouth is also surrounded by some beautiful Dorset countryside including the charming town of Dorchester.
