Great accommodation for families or groups of friends. A large double room and a twin room with shared en-suite are situated on the ground floor, particularly useful for people with limited mobility. Upstairs there is a further spacious double room with stunning views over the countryside and a twin room. A second bathroom and wc can be found downstairs. The house dates back to the early 1800's and retains many original features and has some exposed beams and stonework. The house is equipped to a high standard to ensure that your stay is comfortable.

- Bathroom 2 - is also downstairs with sink, bath with shower over it and separate wet room style shower, heated towel rail. Separate WC downstairs.
- Kitchen - Spacious rustic kitchen with high quality appliances. Dual fuel cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, table and chairs, highchair, ironing board and iron.
- Living room - Spacious semi open plan living room and dining room separated by stunning fireplace and double sided wood burner. Two sofa's and arm chair,coffee table, TV, DVD, ipod dock, large rustic dining table and chairs.

Situated in the Charente Maritime region known for it's sunny climate our beautiful farm house is set in a peaceful hamlet surrounded by sunflower fields and vineyards, perfect for walking and cycling. A quiet, relaxing 'get away from it all' haven but also a perfect base for exploring the historic towns of the area, stunning chateaus, meandering rivers with a variety of water sports and fabulous sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast.
The house is set on the edge of the very peaceful hamlet of Chez Vitet. The nearest villages, Aujac and Authon, are just 1km away and have a mini supermarket, post office and bar. Matha the closest town, 15 mins drive, has two good restaurants, bar, banks, shops, 2 supermarkets and a daily indoor market. Situated 20 mins from Cognac, St Jean D'Angely and Saintes with beaches 50 minutes away, makes it an ideal base for exploring. Futuroscope at Poitiers is 1.5 hours.Local places of interest Cognac and Jarnac (20 mins drive) both homes to the Cognac Houses with daily guided distillery tours and samples to finish, both with cobbled streets, restaurants and bars. Historic Saintes with boat trips on the Charente and ancient Roman ruins (20 mins) The cosmopolitan port of La Rochelle (50 min drive) Chateaus (25min).
