The Regional Capital, Quimper, is located around 20 mins away, and has a beautiful canal running through it, as well as a fabulous covered market and great shopping and restaurants. Benodet is a sailor's paradise. It is a lovely town where you can eat or shop, or take a ferry to Quimper. Pont Aven and Concarneau are two equally beautiful cities with much to offer the day visitor. There are numerous sandy beaches nearby, many with parking, cafes and playgrounds for children.
