Le Main Neuf is a large family house in the Charente-Maritime countryside two miles from the picturesque village of Corme Royal with a weekend oyster market. It is 30 minutes’ drive from beaches at Royan, 40 minutes from the ancient port of La Rochelle and Bordeaux is an hour’s drive to the south.
There is a very private 10x5 metre pool within approximately 1 acre of garden with fruit trees. The house is currently used as a large family house but it has two kitchens and separate terraces and living rooms, so it could easily be divided into two dwellings or a gite. The house has five bedrooms and a childrens' attic dormitory. Its also really well equipped with modern kitchen facilities and central heating and wood burning stoves to make it extremely comfortable all year round.
