The most popular length of time for a dream holiday was three weeks. With our holiday properties taking bookings by the week – many throughout the year - this requirement can easily be ticked off.
Next came accommodation and 78% of those polled wanted a private villa. Well, you'll find thousands of those to choose from in this site in all areas of France, whether the dream is for contemporary chic or romantic antique style, in rolling countryside or close to the sea.
The third dream for most was to eat out every night. France, of course, is the home of restaurants that offer fresh local food, lovingly cooked and at excellent value. In fact, eating out is even more affordable just now because of the better value of the pound against the euro.
