The  competition prize is for three nights’ stay in a double room with breakfast each morning and one welcome dinner for two people on a May or September weekend (travel is not included). During both months the Normandy countryside is beautiful and uncrowded.

In Estry village churchyard, visit probably the oldest tree in France, a massive yew with space for several people in its hollow trunk. Other places to explore are Le Mont St Michel, Bayeux and the D-Day beaches. Host Tony is an expert on the history of the region during Second World War and is happy to share his knowledge with visitors who are interested.
