The property known as La Perception (“the villa”) is offered for holiday rental subject to confirmation by the owners to the renter (“the client”).

The maximum number of people who can reside in the villa must not exceed 10 without the owners’ permission.

The rental period shall start at 16:30 on the first day and finish on the last day at 9:30. Outside high season it may be possible to extend these times with the prior approval of the owners.

The owners are responsible for:

Clients are responsible for: Ensuring that any instructions regarding the property and equipment are adhered to.Informing the management company of any significant problems of malfunctions.Replacement of any items lost or broken with articles or equivalentquality otherwise accepting deduction from the security deposit

The owners shall not be liable for:Any loss, damage or injury resulting from adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or any matters outside the control of the owners.

Any impact as a result of the temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of services to the villa, or in respect of any equipment, machinery or appliance including the swimming pool.Any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to the client if the property is substantially damaged or destroyed before the start of the rental period. In the event of such an occurrence the owners will notify the client and refund any sums paid in respect of the rental period. Under no circumstances shall the owners be liable for any sum in excess of the rental paid for the period.To reserve the Villa, the client should complete the booking form and return it together with payment of the refundable deposit (25% of the total rent due). Following receipt of the booking form and deposit, the Owner will send a confirmation as official confirmation of the booking.The balance of the rent together with the security deposit (see clause 5) is payable not less than 8 weeks before the rental period. If payment if not received by the due date the reservation is cancelled automatically and the deposit shall remain the Owner’s property. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.

Any chargeable expenses arising during the rental period (e.g. extra cleaning or laundry) should be settled locally with the Owners representative before departure.

A security deposit of £500 per week or part week of the rental period is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents. However, the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the Clients liability to the Owner. The Owner will account to the Client for the security deposit and refund the balance due within two weeks of the end of the rental period.Subject to clauses 7 & 8 above, in the event of the non-insurable cancellation, refunds of amounts paid will be made if the Owner is able to relet the Villa and any expenses of losses incurred will be deducted from the deposit. The Client is required to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy to include cover for public liability, cancellation and group personal belongings since these are not covered by the Owners insurance.

Under no circumstances shall the Owners liability to the Client exceed the amount paid to the Owner for the rental period.

Note: It is advisable to arrange insurance against cancellation of your holiday.
