KEY FACTS

Important: A booking can only be confirmed once the deposit has been paid (or the full amount if within 8 weeks of arrival).

Deposit

21% of rental cost is due at the time of booking.

Balance

The balance must be paid not less than 8 weeks prior to your arrival at the property.Bookings taken within 8 weeks of your arrival at the property must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your booking the party leader must do so immediately in writing or by email to the owner (or their representative) and Select Villas. Cancellation charges are as follows:

• 90 days+ before arrival: Full refund to the Customer if the Villa can be rented again otherwise the Residence will retain the deposit paid.• 89 – 31 days: Full refund to the Customer if the Villa can be rented again otherwise the Residence will retain the deposit paid. If the balance has been paid and the Villa has not been rented again the balance will be refunded and the Residence will retain the deposit paid.• 30 – day of arrival: 100% (full amount) cancellation charge.

FULL BOOKING CONDITIONS

1. Duration

The Customer will take possession of the villa starting from 4pm the first day of the rental and leave on the last day before noon.

2. Description

The villa is made up of 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room with TV, a fully equipped kitchen (hotplates, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, and toaster).

Outdoor and for clients use: Terrace with table and chairs. On departure the table and chairs will have to be placed as found on arrival.

3. The Villa

The Villa will be in good condition on Customer arrival (walls and furniture). If the Customer is not satisfied he will have to let Reception know straight away.

The Residence is committed to renting the Villa to the Customer in a very good state of cleanliness.

The Residence allows Customers to bring all consumable goods and also cleaning products into the Villa. Alternatively some items may be bought at the Residence’s reception.

4. The guarantee

The Customer must comply with the following instructions before leaving the property:

The property must be left clean: kitchen, dishes clean and put away, ovens and gas hobs cleaned, fridges emptied and cleaned. Bins must be emptied and placed in the designated bins. All linen put together in a bathroom.

A security deposit of is 400€ is payable in cash on arrival at Reception.  The security deposit will be given back on departure, after deduction of any damages, losses, repairs or extra cleaning charges should the property be left in an unsatisfactory condition. In some instances (i.e. damages requiring a bill), the security deposit may be returned to the Customer after his departure.

The security deposit may also be used to cover extra expenses relating to the services offered by the Residence, and not part of the rental cost: Telephone, additional household cleaning (Villa itself or sofa for example), various items for hire (tennis rackets, DVD’s, swimming pool beds, etc) and other services.

5. Use of space

The Customer benefits from the following:

A private Villa described in article 2 and a designated exclusive parking space shown at the time of arrival.

The Customer shares the following with other Customers of the Residence: swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness room (check opening times with Reception) and access to all areas of the parks made available by the Residence except for the private area of the Residence called “Chateau”.

6. Rental amount

The Customer will pay the a deposit to Select Villas and the balance or the full rental amount if arrival within 8 weeks will be paid directly to the Residence. Electricity and water are included.

Payment to the Residence is made via bank transfer or credit card over the phone (except American express).

7. Special clauses

Pets or animals are not allowed unless prior agreement has been made with the Residence.

It is strictly forbidden to make any kind of structural work to the Villa (inside or outside).

It is strictly forbidden to make repairs or maintenance on any vehicle, motorbike or scooter or any furniture belonging to the Villa.

Please use the airer provided to dry clothes outside the Villa.

All Customers are under obligation to conform to the rules and procedures of the Residence for the use in all common areas.

Car park: a parking space will be allocated for each Villa; any other vehicle (included visitors) must park in the car park.

Bins must be emptied and placed in the designated bins located on the exit of the Domain on the right hand side. All linen must be placed in a bathroom. Failing to comply with this rule may be the subject of a deduction from the security deposit.

Customer cancellation: A cancellation must be made in writing. In the event of cancellation of the contract, the Customer will incur the following charges.

1.a) 90 days+ before arrival: Full refund to the Customer if the Villa can be rented again otherwise the Residence will retain the deposit paid.2.b) 89 – 31 days: Full refund to the Customer if the Villa can be rented again otherwise the Residence will retain the deposit paid. If the balance has been paid and the Villa has not been rented again the balance will be refunded and the Residence will retain the deposit paid.3.c) 30 – day of arrival: 100% (full amount) cancellation charge.

Cancellation from the Residence: The Residence may be forced by ‘force majeure’ to change or terminate the contract for reasons out of its control (damages, building work, war, threat of war, riot, threatened terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, industrial disputes, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events), the Residence reserves the right to:

1.a) Offer an alternative property of similar value. The Customer may refuse the alternative and get a full refund of the rental only.2.b) Offer a smaller villa and lower rental rate. The Customer may refuse the alternative and get a full refund of the rental only.3.c) The Customer may ask for a full refund of the rental only.

The Residence reserves the right to cancel the contract if the contract is not respected by the Customer.

The Customer agrees not to go inside the private area of the Residence called ‘Chateau’.

Should the Customer need to leave the Residence earlier than contractually planned for whatever reason no money can be refunded.

8. Representative of the Residence

The Residence is represented by Mr. Stephane Cherki, (President), Domaine de Mont Leuze, 600 Chemin du Mont Leuze, 06230 Villefranche-sur-Mer, France. Any other information, remarks or problems will have to be dealt directly with the sales department:

9.Confidentiality

Both parties: Residence and the Customer, agree to keep the content of this agreement strictly confidential and not to disclose it to any third parties unless both parties have agreed to do so.

Note: It is advisable to arrange insurance against cancellation of your holiday.
