Payment

Your reservation is not confirmed until the Owner has acknowledged receipt of your deposit payment or full payment if within 9 weeks of intended date of arrival.

The total rent is payable immediately on receipt of the payment reminder which will be issued by email 9 weeks prior to the arrival date.

Late payment will be considered to be notification of cancellation under the cancellation terms below.

Your rental includes all local taxes, linen and towels (except pool and beach towels)

Where a Client is two or more persons, each Client will be liable for all sums due under this agreement and not just a proportionate part.

Cancellation

Only written notification of cancellation will be accepted.

Deposits or full payments are refundable in accordance with the following policy:

Rental rate 100% refundable if you cancel more than 28 days before arrival. 50% refundable if you cancel more than 14 days before arrival, Non-refundable if you cancel within 14 days of arrival

The Owner reserves the right to modify or withdraw any booking due to circumstances arising which are beyond their control. Should the property become unavailable for the reserved dates, the client will be notified as soon as possible and a full refund will be made. The client agrees to take out holiday insurance cover to ensure any losses incurred due to the client or owner cancellation are fully covered.

Rental period

The rental period starts at 16:00 on the arrival date and ends at the latest 10:00 on the departure date.

Terms and Conditions

Your booking confirmation is taken as understanding and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and agreement below. 

These terms and conditions details the agreement of temporary property rental between the rental Client or Clients who is over 18 years of age and the property Owner.  This document is legally binding. 

The client acknowledges that the property is not an official tourist structure or hotel. Rather it is a private accommodation being let solely for a self-catering holiday. That is reflects in its surroundings, architecture and furnishings, the local traditions, climate and environmental conditions plus the personal tastes of the owner.

The client is requested to leave the property and items therein in the same state of cleanliness (excepting linens and towels) and general order in which it was found and with furniture and other items left in the places in which they were situated on the arrival date.

The persons residing at the property during rental dates must be the same as those stated on the booking form, which must not exceed the maximum stated on the website or advised and agreed at the time of booking.

The client must permit the owner or the owner's representative reasonable access to the property during the rental period; whether to inspect, carry out essential maintenance or for any other reasonable purpose.

The persons residing at the property during the rental period shall have no rights whatsoever in respect of the property except to occupy as holiday accommodation for the period booked.

This agreement is personal to the Client and may not be transferred,  sub-let or share use of the property.

The Client should report any breakages and/or defects in the property or its contents to the owner or owner's representative without delay and prior to departure.

Any breakages, damage or loss caused to the property or its contents during the rental period due to negligence on the part of the client will be charged for. 

Pets are forbidden without prior arrangement with the Owner. If a pet is accepted a supplementary charge will be made. Pets should not be permitted upstairs, on the furniture or beds or in the swimming pool. Pets must not be left alone in the property and all evidence must be completely removed from the garden.

Children MUST be supervised at all times. There is an electric fence around the property which should be avoided by all persons and pets.

The property must be fully locked and shutters closed at night and when unattended including the main gate.

The client is expected to act in a manner that would not cause unacceptable disturbance to residents in neighbouring properties.

The client should read and abide by the pre-arrival information which will be sent one week prior to the arrival date.  This includes details of the steep drive and the care required entering and leaving the drive. In addition, the Client should take note of the mention of the steep uneven steps which lead to the pool and which are mentioned in the property description on the website. 

Insurance

The Client should take out comprehensive travel insurance policy, which includes cancellation cover and full cover for the party's personal belongings, personal accidents, car insurance (as necessary), personal liability and accidental damage or negligent damage to the property, as no such cover is provided by the Owner. The Owner.

The Owner accepts no liability or responsibility whatsoever for any accident in or or personal injury or death around the property.

General

The Owner shall not be held responsible for any temporary defect or stoppage of supply of public services such as water or gas.

If the Client  is dissatisfied with the presentation of the property, this should be indicated to the Owner or owner's representative as soon as possible so that any issues, where possible, may be resolved promptly.

If the Client fails to notify the Owner or the Owner's representative of any problem or dissatisfaction prior to departure, it may affect the ability to investigate complaints and impact the way these are handled.

Great care is taken to provide accurate information on the property and general area, however there may be occasions when facilities or circumstances, which are not under the control of the Owner, may not be available. The Owner will endeavour to inform the Client of any such changes in advance, although this will not necessarily entitle the Client to cancel the booking without the usual penalties of the cancellation policy above.

Before proceeding, you should have read and understood these terms and conditions and ensure that the property contains everything you require nothing is unacceptable to you. The Owner will be happy to explain anything that you do not understand or respond to any questions that you have.

 

 

 

Note: It is advisable to arrange insurance against cancellation of your holiday.
