BOOKING CONDITIONS
The Hirer and signatory to this Booking Form and Booking Conditions certifies that he is authorized to agree all terms and conditions on behalf of all persons listed on the Booking Form. The signatory must be at least 18 years of age and be a member of the party occupying the property
If a booking is cancelled less than 8 weeks prior to the Booking Date the full rental amount remains due and payable.
Water, gas and electricity are provided at no cost to the Hirer. Central heating oil and logs are charged extra.
Linen Duvets and pillows are provided.
The Hirer agrees:
To pay for all breakages, how so ever caused, loss or damage to the property, its fittings and fixtures including the swimming pool, which in the absolute opinion of the Owner, were caused during the period of hiring. The Owner strongly recommends that comprehensive insurance be acquired by the Hirer to cover all eventualities.
To take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the tenancy.
To pay all, or any, bank charges in respect of remittances, to and from the Owner.
To permit the Owner’s reasonable access to the property to carry out urgent or important maintenance servicing or repairs.
The number of persons, including children, permitted at the property is as stated on the Booking Form. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY THIS NUMBER BE EXCEEDED. The Owner reserves the right to terminate the hiring without notice and without compensating the Hirer in the event of a breach of this condition. Cleaning: The property will have been thoroughly cleaned prior to the Hirer’s arrival. The Hirer is requested to leave the property as he/she found it. The Owner reserves the right to make deductions from the damage deposit if the property is left in an unsatisfactory state. A mid term cleaning service is available, by prior arrangement, at a charge of €30 per hour.
Travel Documentation: The Hirer is responsible for the party's travel documentation including passports, driving licenses, vehicle registration documents, green card, motor insurance etc.
Non-Availability of Property: If, for reasons beyond the Owner’s control, the property is not available on the date for which it was booked, all monies paid in advance, will be refunded in full. The Hirer shall have no further claim against the Owner.
Alterations to Bookings: If the Hirer should request amendments to the original booking, such amendments must be made in writing and will be subject to the Owner’s consent.
Damage Deposit: A deposit of €850.00 is payable at least 2 months prior to the Hirer’s arrival at the property and will be refunded, normally with 2 weeks of the Hirer’s departure, less charges for damage, breakages, unreasonable cleaning and other such chargeable items, if any.
Pools and Grounds: The pool and grounds will be maintained, at no cost to the Hirer, during the Hirer’s stay.
The Hirer is politely requested to LIGHTLY sponge the pool water line at the end of each day using the liquid provided by the Owner. Under no circumstances are abrasive materials to be used. Those entering the pool are required to shower on EACH OCCASION to ensure the complete removal of all suntan cream. These creams invariably contain additives which stain the pool liner and are impossible to remove.(AS A RESULT OF SUN TAN CREAM STAINING A NEW LINER WAS FITTED IN 2023).
In rural France the presence of animals, birds and insects in the surrounding countryside and on occasion living within the property is almost inevitable. The Hirer is advised that the Owner is unable to take action to eradicate the same.
Arrival and Departure: Times are in local French time. The Hirer agrees to arrive at the property no sooner than 1630 hours and to depart no later than 1000 hours.
