It was the first really hot summer day in Caunes-Minervois and the whole village seemed to be at the bar enjoying a chilled wine or a cold beer.[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="Cooling Off at the Bar"][/caption] It was the first really hot summer day in Caunes-Minervois and the whole village seemed to be at the bar enjoying a chilled wine or a cold beer. The guys at the table next to us had clearly consumed more than one glass of Pelforth and the conversation and laughter became more and more animated as the sun drifted under the bar umbrellas and the afternoon heated up. Finally, seemingly in unspoken agreement, the guys picked their table up and transported it into the fountain without spilling a drop from their glasses. Then they picked up their chairs and transported themselves into the fountain as well. Ahhhhhh. Now that's relaxing. This article was submitted Alison Tinsley one of our property owners.
