Because France is easy to get to by car or train, with no weight restrictions on luggage, you can pack that spare pair of hiking boots and waterproof clothing to ensure that you’re fully equipped.

Many of our friendly property owners provide local maps, itineraries and personal recommendations for suitability of walks tailored to the individual, based on their thorough local knowledge. They will also suggest places to stop and eat or to buy a crusty loaf and pâté for a picnic so you don’t risk being stranded at lunch time. Also talk to our property owners about walking groups.
