St Georges
Although St Georges retains the atmosphere of a village it is more accurately a small town (population about 2,500 with about 1,400 main residences and over 200 second or holiday homes). Nearby Montrichard has larger supermarkets and 2 weekly markets but St Georges has grown by almost 60% since 1968 and has all the transport, commercial, public, sports and social amenities expected of a town.
