Renovated 200 Year Old Luxury Hilltop Property with Large Floodlit Pool
With it's magnificent views and tranquil setting, La Fleureau is the ideal place to unwind, relax and be comfortable. The pool area is surrounded by mature shrubs and palm trees, perfect to sip a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down. The landscaped grounds, interspersed with shingle paths, offer plenty of shade for that afternoon nap. The surrounding area is known locally as 'Little Tuscany'.

'La Fleureau' comprises:

La Fleureau stands in an elevated position, at 275 meters, with stunning views towards the Chateau Magrin and the Black Mountains beyond. There is a floodlit swimming pool set in gardens with lawns and well established shrubs. A Japanese garden provides a superb tranquil setting for strolling or meditation. La Fleureau offers the perfect location for visiting towns such as Carcassone, Revel, Albi, Gaillac and Cordes. The whole area is rich with historical interest and the undulating countryside of sunflowers and vineyards makes this the perfect spot for relaxing, sightseeing and wine tasting. The pretty town of Lavaur is a 10 minute drive and the nearest town for shopping. It is particularly worth visiting on market days. There are many excellent restaurants in the area with an 18 hole golf club just 10 minutes away.

'Wow'. From the moment we arrived for the week until we left 'wow' was the word. Whether it be the beautiful location and views, the wonderful Gite, the pool or the high standard and quality of everything, 'wow' was the word. We have stayed in many Gites, Chateaux and Villas over the years but this is the best by far. But it did not end there. The place is special and
lovely, but what makes it the best are Ian and Carol ( oh and not forgetting Pacha the Cavalier King Charles either). Hosts who know how to provide support, help and warm friendship if and when needed. Their vision, style and years of honing the high standard makes la Fleureau the wonderful, tranquil place it is. Somewhere we won't forget and hope to enjoy again.Guest rating:

During your stay your hosts will be happy to serve a four course dinner on your private terrace or a barbecue around the swimming pool area. Fresh organic vegetables from our local market will be used when available. This will be by prior arrangement and at additional cost.
