In the quiet hamlet of Labaume (commune of Serviers et Labaume) ensuring total relaxation, yet only 5 minutes by car from fabulous medieval Uzès with its twice weekly market, family-run shops, bars and restaurants.
Uzès is a fabulous medieval town with a pedestrianised centre making it a great place to wander or sit and watch the world go by. The town has many interesting sites including the historic Duchy, medieval garden, fenestrelle tower and cathedral. Nearby is the 1st century AD Roman aqueduct, the Pont du Gard.
For an easy day-trip, you can visit Avignon, Nimes, Arles, Orange, Montpellier and the Camargues with its flamingos and white sand beaches.

There are many airports which serve this region. Check with Ryanair, EasyJet and Flybe to Nimes (50 minutes), Avignon (1 hour), Montpellier (1 hour), Beziers (1.75 hours), Marseille (1.5 hours).
Eurostar runs direct into Avignon. Paris is just 2.5 hours by TGV to Avignon or Nimes.
By road, it takes approximately 10 hours to drive from Calais.

We had a fantastic week away at this home from home property with our 3 year old and friends along with their 2 children. The house was beautifully presented, with everything we could asked for and more. The pool was beautiful and we enjoyed the honey and extra bits left for us. Would recommend to anybodyGuest rating:
