This characterful property is located on terraced grounds up on the hills above the magnificent St Cassien Lake (3km). The real and undeniable attraction here is the outstanding views which you can enjoy from two of the bedrooms private terraces, the pool area and from the main covered terrace, the perfect setting for relaxing or dining al fresco by the pool whilst enjoying the superb views over the lake and surrounding hills.
Villa du Lac is also an ideal location for those seeking a more active holiday with activities such as walking, windsurfing, boating and many other water sports available on and around the lake.
For your enjoyment there are a number of sunbathing spots around the pool or on the terraces but also a terrace at the back of the house allowing you to cool off when it gets too hot. The terraced grounds are made up of pine and oak trees and the covered summer kitchen leading to the pool is a sheer delight!

French doors lead to furnished terrace with views of the lake. Separate spacious dining room with table and chairs. French doors lead to balcony with views of the lake. Open tread stairs to first floor (care must be taken with young children). (First floor not accessible with locked door at the top of the stairs).

Lower ground level - Bedroom 3: External access from the pool area. Double bedroom with Queen size bed (160cm) opening onto a small covered terrace and swimming pool and en suite shower room. As it is built against the rock this bedroom keeps cool in summer. - Bathrooms

Villa du Lac is ideal for visiting local villages and beaches of the Cote d’Azur. The motorway is just 20 minutes’ drive away - making Nice very accessible (60 minutes) as well as the seaside resorts of Frejus-Saint-Raphael (35 minutes), Cannes (45 minutes) and Antibes (55 minutes).
St Cassien Lake (3km) - A superb lake ideal for water sports lovers including windsurfing, boating, fishing, swimming, pedalos for hire and lots more activities on site. There are also numerous walking trails around the lake as well as picknic sites, cafes and horse riding in the Leisure Park.
Fayence (14km) - One of numerous perched villages in the area with superb countryside views. Fayence is a charming village which managed to keep its medieval origins. Surrounding the village you will find vineyards, fields of lavender and olive groves, deep gorges and rocky outcrops along the way. In the village itself there are lots of shops, restaurants and bars and also for the more active the Fayence Gliding Centre, considered by many to be one of the best in Europe.
Seillans (19km) - A few kilometres from Fayence is the typically Provencal village of Seillans with narrow paved streets, arched passageways, small squares with ancient fountains, a castle and viewpoints of vineyards and olive groves. The painter Max Ernst spent the last few years of his life in Seillans and his work can be found at the Tanning-Ernst Collection.

- Caves: Les Grottes de St Cézaire sur Siagne (11km). The caves are located 40m underground and offer a great spectacle of spectacular stalactites, majestic drapery, star shaped concretions, glowing jellyfish formations as well as a mini concert played on musical stalactites.
- Zoo: Parc Zoologique, Fréjus (27km). Situated in the foothills of the Esterel Mountains, the animal reserve of covers 20 hectares and is visited by car. There are elephants, zebra, primates, pink flamingos, wildcats and many more.
- Golf: Domaine de Terre Blanche, Tourettes (12km) This is no ordinary golf course and is one of the most prestigious golf courses in the world. There are two courses and their outstanding beauty and high quality as well as their perfect maintenance are simply impressive. On site you will also find a spa, massage and treatments, tennis courts, with various activities for children aged 8 to 16.
