- Panoramic views of Sete's Mont St Clair, which appears island-like across the lagoon, the yachts of nearby Marseillan marina, and in the far distance the wooden racks of the famous oyster farms.
- Whilst the nautically-themed side courtyard provides you with another table and chairs, together with a hot tub and gas barbeque.

You will find all you need for a very comfortable stay. The studio is
- Fully air-conditioned, but may heated during the cooler months.
- For your entertainment, there's a Smart TV with Netflix, a bluetooth speaker and iPod dock.
- Plus of course all the cookware, crockery and glasses necessary for enjoying a meal in for a change.
- And you'll enjoy a good night's sleep in the comfortable king-size bed.
Brand new for 2019, Studio du Lac in Marseillan benefits from an unrivalled waterside location just a 10 minute leisurely stroll to picturesque Marseillan harbour and the charming old town of Marseillan with its shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. You can also easily enjoy the beautiful long sandy Mediterranean beaches as it's only a 10 minute drive to the nearest one at Marseillan Plage. Or you can cycle there on the dedicated cycle path opposite the studio, using the free bicycles we provide.
Marseillan Port - The unspoilt, picture-perfect small port of Marseillan is a short level walk from Studio du Lac, along the shores of the Etang du Thau. Wander along the quays and allow yourself to be transported by the magic of this place and by the gentle sound of water lapping on the boat hulls. There are lots of good restaurants and bars around the port, many specialising in seafood and other Mediterranean cuisine. In the summer, the port is the backdrop for the unique spectacles of the Joute (water jousting) and the Capelet (young men climbing a greasy pole to capture a hat, inevitably falling into the water in the attempt!?
Marseillan Ville - Reputedly one of the oldest villages in France, Marseillan is a delightful small town, with narrow winding streets, shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. It's an easy 10 minutes walk into the town to buy your morning croissants, and maybe for lunch a baguette and fresh mussels or oysters from the many local shellfish producers. On a Tuesday morning, a visit to the weekly Marseillan open air market is a must, where you can buy fresh fish, seafood, cheeses, olives and other local produce. There are two winerys a few minutes walk away from Studio du Lac, and the world-famous Noilly-Prat distillery, where you can have a tour and tastings. During the summer months, there are lots of evening festivities that take place in Marseillan town or at the port.
Marseillan Plage - Just a 10 minutes drive from the Studio lies Marseillan Plage. Originally developed from marshes in the 1950's it is now a seasonal holiday village with the advantage of being situated on part of the miles of sand Mediterranean beaches. If you drive further east towards Sete, you can lose the high season crowds, or if you turn towards Agde you will find the naturist beaches of Cap d'Agde.

How to get to Studio du Lac
The nearest airport to Marseillan is Beziers (20 mins drive). Ryanair fly from several UK airports to Beziers. A shuttle bus operates from the airport to Marseillan, or you can rent a car there. Easyjet flies to Montpellier which is about 40 minutes drive. Other alternatives are Ryanair to Nimes and Carcasson airports.
