Villa Altair is a stunning modern property that was newly built in 2020. It sits just above the village of Chateauneuf-Grasse and benefits from one of the most stunning locations offering splendid panoramic views from the mountains all the way to the Bay of Cannes and beyond.
There are 4 ensuite double bedrooms all with their ensuite bathroom located on the first floor. All bedrooms benefit from air-conditioning and the bedrooms on the first floor all have gorgeous views. A fifth bedroom / study is available on the lower level, with shower room and is suitable for teenagers or (temporary) staff.
On the ground floor there is a large open plan living/dining and kitchen. The very well equipped kitchen and back kitchen offer guests all modern amenities and comfort.
Large floor to ceiling windows slide open throughout this floor and give direct access to the terraces that surround the infinity pool and outdoor dining area. There is a flat lawned garden divided over several levels with a full size boules court available too. From all angles guests will enjoy the beautiful views.
The villa is located in a peaceful and private domaine from where you can walk to the village of Chateauneuf-Grasse. It also has access to the tennis club at the entrance of the domaine so guests can book a tennis court.
There is ample car parking for up to 5 cars behind the property's electric gates.
The house is a voice control integrated smart house where fiber optique internet is available. There's also a multi gym available in the lower ground of the house as well as a home cinema with large screen and billiards. The property's TV has Netflix, Disney+, AMazon Prime and access to international and french channels.
Situated east of the old perfume capital of Grasse, Chateauneuf-Grasse can trace its origins back to 2500 BC. Today there's a pretty hilltop village and a small commercial centre which attracts local residents from Chateauneuf and the neighbouring hilltop villages of Le Bar-sur-Loup, Gourdon and Le Rouret. Set at more than 350 metres above sea level, Chateauneuf and its sister villages offer some of the Cote d'Azur's most spectacular natural scenery. Here you will find private estates amid olive groves and large villas with gardens and pools and stunning views of both the mountains and the Mediterranean. There are wonderful walks along the river valleys and mountains of the Gorges du Loup. And when you want somewhere a bit livelier, the picturesque villages of Valbonne and Saint-Paul-de-Vence are only a 10-minute drive away and it's less than half an hour to Cannes, Antibes and the beaches of the coast.
