The owners who live in the house next to the barn have compiled a file of restaurants, markets and fetes and other activities for guest use and are always available for help or advice.

Although private and tranquil the property is not isolated and within easy reach of market towns Villereal, Eymet, Duras, Miramont and many small villages in the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne region
La Grange is an ideal base for sightseeing trips and activities such as cycling, walking, fishing, canoeing, golf or even hot air ballooning.
During the summer most towns and villages have day or night markets selling local produce, which this region of gastronomy and wine is renowned for, here you can eat and drink, normally accompanied by musical entertainment during the evening.
Rolling rural farming countryside surrounds La Grange, the small town of Castillonnes is 1km away and has all amenities bakery, supermarket, petrol station, pharmacy, bars and resaurants even a cinema, Eymet is 18km, the large town Bergerac is 26km, Villeneuve sur Lot is 32km.
Further afield there is river canoeing
Opposite the property is a farm who does "table peasant" several courses with wine and local produce (his own blond Aquitaine beef) very reasonably priced
