Walk just five minutes to reach the town’s main beach, La Grande Plage, which attracts thousands of visitors with its golden sands and clear blue waters. Visit Plage de la Cote des Basques and watch the surfers glide across the Atlantic ocean. If you fancy giving it a go yourself, there are plenty of surf schools on the coast and places where you can rent equipment.
