The grounds in which the gites are set extend to over 2,500 square metres. The swimming pool is set in a large garden which is fenced off and includes an enclosed play area. Sun loungers and parasols are provided. The pool area also has a cabin with a double bed, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen which may be available as an annexe. It has a terrace which is ideal for barbecues and is open to the sun throughout the day. The pool (not overlooked) is fully alarmed with a lockable gate.

Our gites are in a tranquil setting with nature on their doorstep. They sit in 2,500 sq meters and provide the perfect base to explore the area with its wide choice of activities and unique history. Just 15 minutes away is the bustling city of Dax first discovered and then developed by the Romans. The legend is that a centurion discovered the health giving benefits of the local water and now the Dax health spa has established a reputation beyond the borders of France. Les Halles de Dax is where you can buy the finest of French ingredients and produce, while the city's restaurants cater for every taste from boulangers and bistros to gourmet restaurants and for those who like a flutter it has a well-known casino.
Les Landes is famous for its pine forests which provide a host of activities. There are walking tours, lakes with a variety of water sports, cycle and quad bike tracks. At a more leisurely pace you can discover the areas famous food and wine. Visit a local farm and taste the foie gras, the famous 'boeuf de Chalosse', take in a vineyard and enjoy a glass of the local Tursan wine while not forgetting the renowned Bas Armagnac brandy.
Just over half an hour away is the stunning Atlantic coastline. The miles of sandy beaches stretch from Biarritz in the south to Biscarosse in the north and take in Capbreton, Hossegor and Seignosse. Surf in the ocean's waves, sail on the Hossegor lake, take a day out in the Aquatic Park at Seignosse with its many pools and slides or enjoy a round of golf on one of the areas two golf courses.
There is a daily fish market in Capbreton- the catch fresh from the Atlantic, a 3km walk along the dunes is the perfect appetiser to enjoy a meal and watch the sun set from one of the gourmet restaurants overlooking the ocean.
