La Petite Grange is on totally 1 level, a covered terrace leads through french windows into:
- A spacious lounge/dining room equipped with large wood burning stove.
- The gite sleeps 4 (or 5 with baby) in one room with double bed and one with twin beds. There is a cot and possibly a folding bed if required please ask.
- A bathroom has a shower, WC ..washbasin and heated towel rail.
- The kitchen has a range tyoe cooker, fridge freeze, washing machine and microwave
The terrace outside has a table and chairs and a gas plancha. The gîte is situated at close proximity to our house next door but has a large outside area of its own and the rest of the grounds and pool (shared only with our family) are at your disposal.
We are on the "causes" above the village of Saint Martin Labouval just a few kilomètres from the beautiful Lot river and in the opposite direction about 7kms from the equally beautiful Cele valley. The scenery is stunning here, wooded rolling hills, dramatic cliffs topped by medieval villages and the meandering rivers of the Lot and the Cele.
We are equidistant about 40kms from Cahors, Figeac and Villefranche du Rouergue all medieval towns steeped in history.
This area is absolutely perfect for walking, canoeing, climbing, cycling, painting, photography and stargazing. (We are in a "triangle noir" or an area of low light pollution. There is an observation point for stargazers just a few kms away.)
