Poole in Dorset on the south coast boasts a large natural harbour which used by a wide range of vessels, as well as providing two ferry routes to North West France. These routes include Poole to Cherbourg and  Poole to St Malo.

Poole Ferry Terminal offers a bureau de change, a cafeteria, baby changing facilities within the toilet blocks, as well as a snack bar and shop which also sell continental motoring accessories.

Poole Harbour is one of the world’s largest natural harbours and is famous for having 3 miles of blue flag sandy beaches. The lively town offers lots in the way of lovely restaurants and bars which are all centred on the harbour quay. A short distance to the east of Poole is the seaside resort of Bournemouth with its famous beaches and new artificial reef.
